Hey Y'all! My name is Laura, and I own Grayson & Me Designs! I am 25 and a mother to two sweet boys living in Eastern NC. I created Grayson & Me Designs in May of 2022 in honor of our oldest baby boy, Grayson. Grayson was born prematurely at 28 weeks and sadly passed away in the NICU after birth. Slowly as the months passed, I found purpose and healing in painting while also using it to share his memory. When I am not painting or designing, I am spending time with our one-year-old baby boy, going on beach trips, or watching sports with my family! I’m Shae, the chaotic mind behind Rhodie & Archie.  I’m new to the door hanger and template world, started in 2024. I started painting door hangers as a way to cope with stress while caring for my elderly parents and my youngest leaving for college, which lead to template designing. My business name, Rhodie & Archie, is a tribute to my great-grandparents. Rhodie, a petite lady, always wore an apron and if going outside a bonnet. Her kitchen counter was always stocked with homemade cookies “ tea cakes” in an old glass jar. Archie, a kind and gentle soul, kept a bag of circus peanuts under his pillow for my sister and me before he passed away. He would affectionately call my sister, Tasha, and me “Shaetashshae”.
